ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Jack – Your Neighborhood Tech Handyman!
Welcome to Spin Zone Tech, a branch of Spin Zone Creations, LLC. I’m a professional Technology Consultant and Software Engineer based in Chicago, offering in-home tech support, remote tech help, and computer science tutoring for anyone who could use a little extra help navigating the digital world.
I’ve been passionate about tech since high school and earned my degree in Computer Science in college. Over the years, I’ve held roles in software development, application engineering, solutions engineering, and tech consulting. I also serve as the head webmaster for a Chicago-based nonprofit — so you could say tech is more than just a job for me.
Spin Zone Tech started with a simple idea: if I can help my grandparents set up their WiFi and fix their printer, I can help anyone. And after hearing “you should really start a business” one too many times… I did!
What I Offer:
In-Person Tech Support in Lakeview and surrounding Chicago neighborhoods – WiFi issues, printer setup, phone troubleshooting, smart devices, and more.
Virtual Tech Help – Quick and effective tech support over the phone or via video call.
Computer Science Tutoring – For students of all ages, in-person or online. We’ll chat first to make sure I’m a good match for your course or topic.
Whether it’s fixing tech headaches at home, answering questions over a quick call, or helping students crush their CS classes, I’m here to help. I keep things friendly, simple, and stress-free — no jargon or complicated tech talk unless you want it.
When I’m not helping clients, you’ll find me cheering for the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field or out fly fishing (which this little side gig helps fund — thanks for that!).
